They use data mining processes to extract useful information from data sets to identify correlations and patterns. They use certain tools and techniques which enable them to visualize data in formats that are easy to understand such as diagrams, graphs, charts, tables, and reports. They then make this information available to the business or government agencies who use it to make informed decisions.
