Sometimes the client may seek them out and sometimes the agent will offer their representation. Often they represent performers and entertainers such as singers, actors, and even athletes. If the agent works for a company, they might be provided with some equipment. This could be in the form of an allowance for a company cellphone and laptop. They may also receive a stipend for clothing that reflects well on the brand they’re representing. If the agency has the means they may upskill the employee with courses/lessons. This may be on the subject of negotiation or even networking.
